State of Ohio Paper Employment Application
Applicants are encouraged to apply online to make it easier to apply for multiple positions. However, an electronic version of the paper application is available in PDF format for applicants to complete, print and mail to the agency. The agency’s mailing address is listed at the top of the printable job bulletin. Click “Print Job Information” from the posting to view the printable job bulletin.
Benefits to the applicant when applying online:
- Do not need to re-create an application each time you want to apply for a position; can use the same profile to apply for multiple positions
- Saves you money on postage
- A record of all postings and applications is kept inside your profile in OHMS
- You will be able to see the status of your application when you log into your OHMS profile
- Your application is received instantly once you certify and submit your application

- Saves the agency time and effort; the agency does not have to manually enter the application into our system and contact the applicant regarding the Supplemental Questions
- Gives the agency the ability to start processing the application immediately upon receipt
